I have been working on a highlighted transcript for a few days (no tape) which means that I can……… listen to my iPod! I know. And thanks to some headphones my dad let me have (very nice) that is not annoying either. The headphones fit, work good, and have good sound. Tunes at work pretty much makes work for me. Changes everything. Improves my life.
Another good thing is the four-day Christmas weekend that is nearly upon us. I am really excited. I have a nailpolish schedule all worked out, including silver (of course) and blue sparkles. I might even try a silver over black or something for New Years, also swiftly approaching. And I know Amber hates it, but I love Blue as a Christmas color. I love the blue sleaves at Starbucks. I think they look extra special Christmasy. Snowy. Icy. But still really pretty. Christmas!
I bought blue eyeliner to accentuate this. It looks great, of course.
One more thing: I got a Christmas bonus at work. Can you believe it? Just like a real grown-up. Fifty dollars and not in my budget. I am going to use it to buy something I’ve always wanted: A New Hoodie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Ok well we’ll see about that. And yeah. I am totally leaving that 1 right where it is.

Oh, have ever tried to listen to your iPod in one year while you listen to your tape transcriber machine in the other? Let me know how that works for you. Maybe you wire up headphones with two jacks… patent it and make a fortune! Just think… background iPod music while you do your other stuff! Love it… Hey… I here and now claim the patent, copyright, and trademark on the idea…

Okay, I have to admit, focusing on the way blue looks most like snow is really helping with my holiday acceptance of said color. Shanon at work even made me a big snowflake of light blue and pale yellow paper, and looking at it does make me feel festive and happy. So I’m not totally anti-blue - I just gravitate towards all the pretty reds.
I was actually going to buy a bunch of blue lights and blue and silver decorations for my place this year, then I talked to a couple people at church and decided to just go with cheap dollar store stuff. Well I augmented it with some nicer purple and blue. It worked out great! Thanks to those annoymous people for keeping me from spending way to much on decorations! I think everything turned out great!
