So yeah, I did get my nails done. But I communicated with the nail technician to not destroy my calluses as was her instinct, and when she was filing them I kept saying “shorter, shorter.” It worked well. I have guitar-proof nails in Suzi Says Da.

I bought those little Babybel cheeses. Better than string cheese (another portable breakfast fav) which is nearly as expensive and not nearly as tasty.
