this is my favorite post i have ever read from anybody’s blog ever, and that includes the one by the 13-year-old norwegian fashion guru who raps about h&m, and also any nail polish blogs which feature reviews of both essie and opi holiday collections.

Also, Bit-o-Honey is difficult to pluralize and use gramatically. Bit-o-Honies are? Bit-o-Honey is? Bits-o-Honey? Honeys?

In any case, Bits-of-Honeys is the absolute worst.

I would say a trip to the “Mighty Mississip” is more like an overnight trip rather than a day trip. It takes about 4.5 hours to get to St. Louis from up here (recovering St. Louisan speaking here). Of course, you don’t have to go to St. Louis to see the Mississippi, but if you do you guys could hit up the City Museum, which is a really cool place! They have an obnoxiously long slide (like three stories or something).

Yay for Dead Souls. “Light Russian reading” is my favorite kind of reading.

I’m down for Midnight Thanksgiving, but I’ll have to take a nap first. Does MT include Airing of Grievances followed by Feats of Strength? Or am I confusing it with something else?

I think that the specter of Midnight Thanksgiving is basically my favorite tradition the Giovannetti family doesn’t uphold. Nothing warms my heart more than our annual failure to observe and apathy towards this most sacred of imaginary holidays.
